Markets

Latin America first. Global by design.

Most of my business development right now is in Latin America. I also work across broader international lanes, and I’m starting to build relationships in Asia. Here’s an honest picture of where things stand.

  • Current emphasis Latin America
  • Broader work Global trade lanes
  • Developing Asia & China
Current emphasisLatin America

Latin America is where I spend most of my commercial energy today: developing accounts, meeting partners, and learning what it takes to move bulk liquids into and out of the region.

It’s a region where relationships carry real weight, and where speaking Spanish changes the conversation. Being able to talk directly with customers, agents and partners in their own language means fewer misunderstandings and faster answers. It also makes for a better working relationship.

  • Account development
  • Partner relationships
  • Spanish-language business
Broader workGlobal trade lanes

My role isn’t limited to one region. Plenty of my work involves international moves that depend on carriers, overseas offices and partners in other parts of the world.

The skill that transfers everywhere is coordination: getting pricing, operations and the people on the other end of the lane aligned, so what was quoted is what actually happens.

  • International accounts
  • Overseas office coordination
  • Multimodal moves
DevelopingAsia & China

I’m beginning to take part in conversations about potential import and export opportunities connected to China and the wider Asia region.

This is early. I’m learning these markets, building relationships and exploring where they connect with the bulk liquid work I already do. If you’re working on these lanes, I’d genuinely like to compare notes.

  • Building relationships
  • Learning the market

Bilingual

English and Spanish, in the same conversation.

In cross-border logistics, a lot gets lost between the shipper, the receiver and everyone in the middle. Working comfortably in both languages helps keep it from getting lost.

English

Tell me about your product, where it needs to go, and what’s made it difficult before. We’ll start there.

Español

Cuénteme sobre su producto, a dónde necesita llegar y qué lo ha complicado antes. Empezamos por ahí.

Approach

Markets are built one relationship at a time.

I find new business the way most good logistics relationships start: at industry conferences, through research, through referrals, and by showing up consistently.

What I try to bring to every new market is the same: real curiosity about how the customer’s business works, honesty about what’s possible, and the follow-through to make a first shipment go well. That’s what earns the second one.

Working on a lane I should know about?

Latin America, global, or somewhere new. I’m always glad to talk.
